At Crimson Forest, transparency with our supporters is key.
Founded in 2023 after successfully starting numerous teams, we didn’t have a single home for all our players — a space that truly belonged to us. Fast forward to September 2025, and we’ve secured ¼ of a pitch at our local ground in Islington. Our goal is to grow this to a full pitch — a safe, vibrant space for women to play, connect, and thrive.
As a women’s team founded by women, led by women, this isn’t just practical — it’s a statement. Visibility matters, and every hour we spend on this pitch helps challenge the outdated narrative that football is just for men.
However, access comes at a cost. This space costs £6,000 per year. As a non-profit, volunteer-led club, we keep fees as low as possible, because football should be inclusive, accessible, and barrier-free for women and non-binary players.
